
Colts Neck Polo was established in 1994 to bring the exciting sport of polo to the Monmouth County, New Jersey area and the town of Colts Neck. Benefiting the cadet programs of both the Colts Neck First Aid and Fire Departments, the Colts Neck Polo Club is dedicated to sport as well as the local community. The Club has been granted 501-c-3 Tax Exempt not for profit status and is a Charter Member of the United States Polo Association.
The Colts Neck Polo Club plays it's matches at scenic Bucks Mill Park in Colts Neck, New Jersey. Only 10 minutes East of Freehold and 15 minutes west of Red Bank, we are easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway, State Highways 18, 33, and 34, and County Highway 537. Bucks Mill Park is located on Bucks Mill Road which can be reached from Rt. 537 or Cedar Drive. You can get a map at the Colts Neck Township website or by following this link to Mapquest.
Please observe the posted speed limit - there are many visitors and children at all times.
Please do not sit or jump over the white wooden polo fence.
One car per tailgate and up to 8 adults. Above 8 there is a charge of $5.00 per person with a maximum of 12 adults per space. If you are hosting more than 12, you must notify us in advance and we can arrange an adjoining day space for $50.00.
Size of tent cannot exceed the size of the space (a regular tailgate space is between 3 fence poles).
The tailgate space should be 4 feet from the white fence to allow for foot traffic.
Please return all polo balls to the announcer stand or leave them on the ground in front of the white fence. Do not throw them back on the field as this can startle the horses and is unsafe.
No motorized vehicles other than cars and motorcycles are allowed in the parks (no unauthorized ATV's, Golf Carts, etc.).
We discourage the bringing of pets. If you do bring one, it MUST be on a leash.
All Parking must be in designated areas due to safety and emergency regulations.
Please stay alert during the game. Both polo balls and horses may cross the barriers.
Please do not approach the horse trailer area.
While the game is being played, please stay behind the white fences. Do not enter the playing field or try to cross in the end zones as they are all in play!
Please watch your children at all times. Do not leave them unattended at the pond.
Please clean up after your tailgate and please recycle.
